Relatively new to the scene, the Cottages at Tenaya Lodge are best described as a “hybrid” of a peaceful alpine retreat and a full-service resort. Cottages guests can take advantage of all the amenities, activities and services offered at the main Tenaya Lodge building, with a cozy cottage room or suite waiting to welcome them “home” in a Sugar Pine forest just a short walk across the property.  The seclusion of the Cottages is perfect for groups and couples desiring just a touch more privacy and separation from the Tenaya resort scene. All cottage rooms include the following amenities:

Cottage Room

The Cottages at Tenaya are elegantly rustic, with a long list of amenities including private balconies or patios that are perfect for, say, sharing a nice bottle of local wine as you reminisce upon your Yosemite Park day.  Fireplaces, work desks, and flat screen TVs are just the top of a long list of Cottage Room comforts:

  • Choice of two queen beds or one king bed

Cottage Suite

The Cottage Suite is a peak Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite experience, with a separate Queen bedroom and a bit more space all around, including a living room with sleeper sofa or king bed.  The only “rough part” of staying in a Cottage suite will be checking out! In the newly renovated Cottage Suites you will find:

  • 490 square feet of comfort
  • Queen bed in separate bedroom
  • Living room with sleeper sofa or King bed
  • Individual room climate control
  • Work desk with computer dataport WiFi (fee)

  • Private balcony (for most rooms)
