The Summerdale Adventure

Summerdale is a special event area designed to celebrate the history of the century old town of Fish Camp. Complete with a rustic cabin in an open wilderness setting, this outdoor banquet site features an open fire pit, picnic tables and a small amphitheatre.

The trip back in time begins with our famous “Prospector’s Buffet”, including such specialties as grilled Mahi-Mahi topped with tropical salsa, fire-roasted carne asada and BBQ chicken. You can also cook your own hot dog over the fire.  In addition to our extensive prospector’s buffet, the evening includes live entertainment of folk singing, plus gold panning for your little partners.

Top off your adventure with S’mores that you build yourself and roast at the campfire.

Summerdale is open on Tuesday's and Friday's during the summer months (based on availability).  For further details and to book your reservation, please contact Guest Services Desk.

Great fun for the entire family!

Jamboree at the Pack Station

A horse drawn wagon will meet you outside the resort's main lobby and take you to a historic "working" pack station, which historically is the place you would go to your fresh horses and supplies before continuing on your journey.  Take a load off on a picnic table bench and enjoy the singing cowboys while you treat yourself to an old fashioned BBQ Cookout Jamboree, a roaring campfire and s'mores.

The Pack Station is open two nights weekly during the summer. Check with our Guest Services Desk for details and to make your reservations.

Testimonials

My family spent a week at Tenaya and had the time of our lives. The lodge was full of activities and helpful advice. We have great memories and pictures from the Tenaya and surrounding areas-it is near everything we wanted to do. We rafted, went horseback riding, rode the train and went to Bass Lake. We will be back!
