IMPORTANT NOTICE
We want to reassure you that the fires (Washburn Fire and Oak Fire) do not threaten Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite at this time, and it is safe to continue with your plans to visit us. Highway 41 and the south entrance to Yosemite National Park are open!
As of August 16, 2022, the Washburn Fire is now 100% contained, and the Oak Fire is 98% contained. There is currently no smoke impact at Tenaya Lodge.
Visitors can currently access Yosemite through all park entrances.
Visit our Wildfire FAQ page for more information.
Day use reservations will be required for visiting Yosemite National Park during peak hours from May 20 to September 30, 2022. But there are plenty of ways to see the park outside of the peak reservation hours, including a one-of-a-kind Yosemite 360 Tour. Check out more information about Yosemite National Park peak-hour reservation system and how you can gain access to the Park, or reserve your ticket today at recreation.gov.
