Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite's Summerdale BBQ is a true taste of the "Old West," and harkens back to days when friends gathered around an open flame for a hearty meal, storytelling and a song or two after a day of trailside adventure.
Summerdale BBQ is on the Tenaya Lodge grounds just a short stroll from the main lodge. Staged in a conifer forest clearing, the Summerdale BBQ includes live entertainment, kid-friendly activities and after-dinner s'mores around the campfire.
So Much More Than a Barbecue!
Live music, campfire, s'mores and more.

Every Kid at Summerdale
In celebration of the National Park Service Centennial, the Park Service has launched the Every Kid in a Park program — fourth graders get free entry for them and their families to all national parks.
Tenaya Lodge is celebrating in our own way. Your fourth grader eats free at the Summerdale BBQ when accompanied by an adult. In addition, there's a free spot waiting for your fourth grader on our Guided Nature Walk (must be accompanied by an adult).
To get your pass, simply go to the Every Kind in a Park website, fill out your adventure diary and print your pass. Please note, but the National Park Service and Tenaya Lodge require printed passes. Electronic copies are not valid.
