Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite's Summerdale BBQ is a true taste of the "Old West," and harkens back to days when friends gathered around an open flame for a hearty meal, storytelling and a song or two after a day of trail side adventure.
Summerdale BBQ is on the Tenaya Lodge grounds just a short stroll from the main lodge. Staged in a conifer forest clearing, the Summerdale BBQ includes live entertainment, kid-friendly activities.
S'mores kits are available, for purchase at Summerdale, to roast around the campfire. It's so much more than a Barbecue!
Live music, campfire and more.
Check out the Summerdale String Band's Facebook page for more.
Fourth Graders Eat Free
The National Park Service has continued the Every Kid in a Park program in select parks in 2017 — fourth graders get free entry for them and their families!
Tenaya Lodge is celebrating in our own way. Your fourth grader eats free at the Summerdale BBQ when accompanied by an adult and presenting a valid pass.
To get your pass, simply go to the Every Kind in a Park website, fill out your adventure diary and print your pass. Please note, but the National Park Service and Tenaya Lodge require printed passes. Electronic copies are not valid.
