With the Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite cabins, you get the best of both worlds - space for the whole family in a two-bedroom cabin with a private deck, plus access to all the resort amenities including restaurants, pools, spas, and more.
Explorer cabins are located on 27 forested acres with views of a creek, pond and alpine meadows. You'll be able to reconnect with nature and breathe in the fresh mountain air just outside your doorstep. Yet, the Explorer Clubhouse is only about a 10-minute walk along a quiet path from the main lodge if you want to eat out, get a massage, or play in the pool. If you don't want to walk, take the convenient shuttle service (operating 24 hours a day), or make the quick trip in your car.
Non-ADA cabins have 560 square feet (52m2) of interior space to spread out. ADA cabins are slightly larger to accommodate wheelchairs in the bathroom.
All cabins have two bedrooms, a living room, and a 90-square-foot covered porch to relax on and take in the smell of the pines. Explorer Cabins also include a wetbar area with a compact fridge and freezer, microwave and a Keurig coffee maker. Please note: cabins do not include an oven, range or cooking utensils.
Tenaya Lodge also offers a range of suites both in the main lodge and in the Tenaya Cottages.
The above amenities are included in the Resort Services Fee. See the Amenities page for information about additional amenities such as childcare, laundry and many other Tenaya amenities.
Our Premium Cabins offer a true immersive Yosemite-Sierra experience. Enjoy the rushing Big Creek, mountain pond or alpine meadow from your master bedroom porch. Like the Deluxe Cabins, the Premium Cabins feature one king-size bed and one queen-size bed with a large shower. Premium Cabins have the same layout as Deluxe Cabins, but in our best locations.
Our Family Cabins are unique to the resort property, offering a bunk bed in the second bedroom! With a full bed on bottom, and a twin on top – this room is perfect for guests of all ages. The floorplan is the same as the Premium Cabins, but with a shower tub in the bathroom instead of the shower-only arrangement in the Premium and Deluxe Cabins.
The comforts of home, nestled beneath Incense Cedar and Sugar Pine trees, our Deluxe Cabins are sure to offer a one-of-a-kind mountain escape. The Deluxe Cabins have the same layout and amenities as the Premium Cabins, but are toward the interior of the grounds.
Tenaya Lodge knows that people of all abilities have the urge to explore. The ADA-compliant version of the Explorer Cabins is the same as Deluxe or Premium Cabin, but with a queen beds in both bedrooms, widened doorways, a larger bathroom, grab bars where needed and all the other features needed to make them accessible to all explorers!
