Q: Is it possible to claim unused day use entry tickets if people don't show up?
A: Canceled day use entry tickets are added back into inventory and are released at 7:00 am Pacific Time, 48-hours prior to the ticket date. Note these tickets sell out very quickly, so be sure to be online and ready by 7:00 am PST. Insiders Tip: Login or create a new account before ticketed entry goes on sale. You can only add a ticket to your cart and proceed to payment if you are logged into your account.
Q: Are there alternative ways to enter the Park without a reservation?

Keep in mind Tenaya Lodge has a 7-day no penalty cancellation policy. Keep trying to secure your entry ticket, guided tour, or public transit on a YARTS bus, and you can move or cancel your reservation at no charge up to 7 days in advance of your current reservation. Also of note, the day pass entry ticket system expires on October 31.
