Cruise the forests of the Sierra National Forest on your bike or one of ours
Crisp mountain air, easy trails and scenic tours make Tenaya Lodge bike riding a great pastime for all ages. Guests can experience miles of mountain biking trails through majestic Sierra National Forest on the border of Yosemite National Park. You can take a short easy ride down Jackson Road or take longer rides through the Nelder Grove of Giant Sequoias or up to a historic fire tower at Signal Peak.
Please Note: Mountain Bike rentals are currently available for overnight guests only. Mountain bike rentals are complimentary based on availability. Bikes may be checked out for up to 4 hours.
NEW for 2022: E-Bike rentals are now available! Rentals are available during the same time frame as our regular mountain bikes (8 AM - 5 PM, last rental at 4PM). Cost is $25 per hour. Guests must be at least 16 years of age to rent an E-Bike, and are required to wear a helmet with no exceptions. For details or to reserve your E-Bike rental, please visit the Concierge.
In addition, with a bit of driving, the Sierra National Forest offers some of the finest single-track riding anywhere, from easy to technical. Ask the concierge about where to obtain detailed maps. - Please note: the trails in Yosemite National Park are all closed to mountain biking. But the Sierra National Forest next door is a mountain biker’s dream!
