Downhill sliding and cross-country skiing in a gorgeous setting await
Badger Pass Nordic Center and Tubing Hill are now closed for the season. Downhill skiing ends March 20, 2022.
A Yosemite tradition since 1935, Yosemite Ski & Snowboard Area (Badger Pass Ski Area) offers a range of national park winter recreation for enthusiasts of all skill levels. Affordable lift tickets and a great ski school make this ski area one of the best places to learn or hone downhill skills. With five lifts, a terrain park, NASTAR races and 85% of the terrain devoted to beginner or intermediate skiers, Yosemite Ski & Snowboard Area (Badger) offers one of the most affordable and family-friendly ski experiences anywhere.
Cross-country skiers can enjoy over 90 miles of marked trails leaving from Yosemite Ski & Snowboard Area (Badger Pass), including 25 miles of machine-groomed trail for striding and skate skiing. The Nordic Center rents all types of nordic skis (classic, skate and telemark) as well as snowshoes for those who don't have their ski legs yet!
And for those who just want a bit of fun snowplay, a totally awesome tubing hill adds to the ski area's allure. Yosemite Ski & Snowboard Area (Badger Pass Ski Area) is open mid-December through mid-March, conditions permitting.
